His career began in the trenches of the Wheat Futures pit at the Kansas City Board of Trade before he moved to the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). As a professional market maker, Jay managed trades for major tech giants, including Amazon, during the foundational years of the digital economy.

Beyond the trading floor, Jay has served as a senior analyst for a prominent hedge fund, working alongside specialized teams to implement high-level volatility and income strategies.

Currently based in Arizona, Jay focuses his expertise on empowering retail traders. At NetPicks, he specializes in teaching professional-grade strategies that prioritize steady cash flow and advanced volatility management, making complex market concepts accessible to everyday investors.
